Colorado Springs here we come

Robert and I (on a whim) decided to spend part of the day in the Springs. We found this cute restaurant "The Mason Jar." We also visited Garden of the Gods and saw the Kissing Camels rock formation.

We had a great view of Pikes Peak. Incidentally we can also see this place from out apartment 45 minutes away.

We also spent time at Seven Falls where you can ride an innermountain elevator. It doesn't go all the way to the top.

Welcome to Colorado!

After leaving our life in Topeka, KS, we journeyed to the great state of Colorado. We lived in a hotel room for a month before spreading out into our new apartment in Parker.

On the weekends, we enjoy exploring the many opportunities here.

We've been to Red Rocks Ampetheater,

drove on the highest paved road in the country to get to the top of Mt. Evans,

rode our first ski lift to the top of Winter Park,

and drove the Peak to Peak highway to Estes Park.
